India with all the developments and achievements of the 21st century has slipped back in time and is experiencing the same food crisis that it had to handle immediately after independence. But the situation now is more critical, as earlier it had to fend for a mere 380 million and now it had to cater to the demands of a teeming 1.2 billion.

Agricultural land is increasingly being taken over for development, whether it’s building roads or real estate. Young farmers are migrating to cities to do menial work; this leaves the older farmers who cannot supply the volumes for the demand that exists. This means prices of food items go up. The need of the hour is to incorporate latest technology and innovative methods to result in faster yield, thus helping ease the gap between requirement and production, meanwhile helping the farmer afford a better standard of living. Our farms aim to shorten this gap further in due time, with more numbers, following the sustainable method of all processing being done under one roof, thereby reducing the purchase of raw materials from external sources and eventually in better profits.
